Background
Robert’s first legal position was with Pacifica Enterprises Investments, a real estate investment firm in Rancho Santa Fe. There, Robert was handling transactional legal work such as drafting contracts, negotiating contract terms and more. Robert attained this position through the recommendation of his law professor in a contract drafting course in law school. The professor was asked to recommend one student for this position from that course, and she hand-picked Robert, as he demonstrated the most aptitude for the position.
Immediately after law school, Robert attained a legal position with one of the biggest insurance companies in California where he worked for six years. Here, he handled an extremely high case load, managing between 150-200 files at a time. Through this experience, Robert is intimately familiar with the way insurance companies operate and is able to build and present his clients’ cases in a way that best accomplishes the most favorable resolution. After learning all of the ins and outs of how insurance companies operate, Robert’s conscience told him that he needed to be on “the other side.” He knew that his calling was not to help the insurance companies in personal injury cases, but rather, to help the individuals that have experienced the injuries.
Robert has also interned with Simonian & Simonian, PLC, a well-known Glendale-based law firm that handles employment and personal injury matters.
